Anhydrous tank overturns

The tank overturned, broke some valves and had a cloud of anhydrous gas filling the area. All Davis County fire departments, and a Haz Mat crew from Ottumwa responded to the call. Ice Avenue between Drakesville and Highway 2 was shut down for more than three hours so authorities could contain and clean up the spill. The tanks are owned by Farm Service who has a storage facility east of Bloomfield. No one was hurt in the accident.
