2010 Mustang football schedule set

The Davis County football team recently received its 2010 football schedule, which is now set by the Iowa High School Athletic Association.

Non-district competition changed slightly with Clarke being removed from the schedule. Fairfield and Centerville will be Davis County’s non-district competition over the next two years.

Class 2A District 6 play will begins with Mid-Prairie. The rest of the district schedule includes games with Albia, Sigourney-Keota, Central Lee, West Burlington-Notre Dame, Eddyville-Blakesburg and Mediapolis.

Albia and Eddyville-Blakesburg were added to Class 2A District 6 during redistricting this year. They replaced Louisa-Muscatine and Columbus who were moved into Class 2A District 5.
