National FFA Week is set for February 22 through the 26. It is a week to celebrate the impact this organization has had on its members and the community around them.

The DCHS FFA Chapter will be celebrating its members and all that FFA has done for them with a week of activities, treats and dress-up days at the high school.

Monday, February 22, is Wear Your Hat to School Day. The high school hallways are being decorated with signs about FFA and signs recognizing well-known former FFA members.

Tuesday, February 23, the dress up day is Ag Career Day. At lunch the FFA members will treat all students to ice cream and a “dairy fact.”

Wednesday, February 24, the dress up day is FFA Apparel Day. This day is also Staff Appreciation Day. On this day the faculty members will eat in the FFA area with a lunch of pulled pork, cheesy potatoes, Italian pasta salad, and FFA members will bring in desserts.

Thursday, February 25, is Official Dress Day, where FFA members will dress up in their official FFA Apparel. Later that night there will be an FFA Meeting and fun night at 6:30 p.m. The fun night will include dodge ball, wiffleball and chapter bonding for all the members of the FFA club.

At the middle school there will be a jar guessing game for all students.
