Library Director Anne Tews said the Bloomfield Public Library will be closed to walk-in patrons through Sept. 21, but will be providing curbside service during day time hours.
The library is also adding extended curbside service from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Tews said new books are being ordered including fiction and non-fiction for adults, young adults, and kids.
“We’ve been on a particular hunt for books on home-schooling and Montessori instruction for parents to help their kids,” Tews said. “A cool-looking, young-adult book is ‘True or False: A CIA Analyst’s Guide to Spotting Fake News’ by Cindy Otis.”
“One of our new kids’ books is ‘She Persisted Around the World: 13 Women Who Changed History’ by Chelsea Clinton.”
