Past State Commander of the American Legion, Bob Waugh of Birmingham, will be the guest speaker for the American Legion’s Annual Memorial Day Service at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
The service will begin at 11 a.m. with local Commander Greg McClure serving as emcee.
Sue Spilman of the Legion Auxiliary will place a wreath on the grave of a G.A.R. (Grand Army of the Republic) soldier during the service.
The Davis County High School Band will perform patriotic music during the ceremony with a trumpeter playing “Taps” to close the service.
The Legion’s Color Guard will present the colors and fire a 21-gun salute at the end.
