Deb Baughman, organizer of the 6th Annual Plein Air Paintout scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 16, said 15-18 artists will be participating in the annual event sponsored by the Spectrum Center for the Arts.

Artists from a three-state area will be painting autumn scenes around Davis County throughout the day. The public is invited to stop and watch the artists at work as they recreate real-life scenes.

Artists will be turning in their works for judging at the Kay Burchette Cultural Center at 4 p.m.

The public is invited to view and purchase artworks from 4:30-7 p.m.

The Spectrum Center for the Arts will also be hosting a dine-in or carryout soup supper in the Cultural Center from 4:30-7 p.m. in conjunction with the event.
