Two events will combine into one festival on Sept. 25 as Bloomfield Main Street hosts its annual Fall Festival while the Pumpkin Growers Association hosts a Giant Pumpkin Bash — all on the Bloomfield Square.

Pumpkin-growers from all over the Midwest will bring giant pumpkins for a morning weigh-off. Last year’s winning pumpkin weighed 1,632 pounds! Expect to see many giant field pumpkins, watermelons, and gourds as well!

The motor show usually has 60-80 entries including all kinds of cars, motorcycles, and even tractors.

Hometown Christmas

Celebration

Bloomfield’s third Lighted Christmas Parade will wow residents and visitors alike on Saturday night, Dec. 4.

The community was overwhelmed with the success of Bloomfield Main Street’s first attempt at a lighted parade in 2018 which featured 21 elaborate entries created by organizations, businesses, and individuals.

The second lighted parade in 2019 was even bigger and better.

The community suffered a letdown in 2020 when the parade had to be cancelled due to COVID-19, but this year committee members can’t wait to sponsor a parade that will be the envy of every surrounding community.

Other Christmas activities are also being scheduled for the first weekend in December. Check Bloomfield Main Street’s Facebook page for updates, or email info@bloomfieldmainstreet.com.

Be sure to bring your family and friends to enjoy the fun times that Bloomfield has to offer!
