Roulet quilts donated to Historical Society

Sandra Amstutz and Susan Knapp presented a program on quilts made by Fannie Roulet and sisters at the Davis County Historical Society meeting Sept. 8. Knapp, Amstutz, and others found numerous quilts in the Roulet farmhouse southeast of Bloomfield shortly before it was torn down. Amstutz and Knapp reproduced about 10 of the quilts, which were featured in a book by Edie McGinnis, “Finders Keepers.” Melinda Thomas of Pella, a granddaughter of Fannie Roulet, donated the above quilts and several others to the Historical Society.
