Alice Darlene Huggins, 86, of Bloomfield passed away on March 11, 2020 at the Davis County Hospital. She was born November 21, 1933 in Bunch to Carl and Ivah Burkhalter Fitzgerald. She married Donald Huggins in October of 1960 in Davis County. Donald passed away on October 28, 1991. Darlene was a homemaker and member of the Bloomfield Christian Church. She loved to cook, play Bingo, and play cards. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by a daughter, Carla Collett of Eldon; two sons, Bruce (LeAnn) Huggins of Troy, Craig (Heather) Huggins of Bloomfield; five grandchildren, Bradley, Madeline, Guy, Shawna, Sam; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Dean Fitzgerald of Hopkinsville, Ky.; and a sister, Doris Campbell of Des Moines.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Chuck Wilcox; brother, Donald Fitzgerald; and two sisters, Deanna Kimberlin, Delores Dixon.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Leslie Dotson officiating. Burial was at the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield. Visitation began at 9 a.m. on Saturday with the family present to greet friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
