Marilyn Maxine White, 87, of rural Bloomfield,  passed away on March 24, 2020 at the Ottumwa Regional Health Center in Ottumwa.  She was born January 6, 1933 in Bunch, Iowa to Chester and Lulu Arnold Wilfawn.  On July 29, 1955 she married Joe White in Pulaski, Iowa.

Marilyn worked as a school secretary for Troy Elementary and Davis County Community Schools for over 35 years.  Aside from work, she enjoyed gardening, canning, crocheting, quilting, and planting flowers.  She especially loved spending time with her family and always attended sporting events and other activities that her grandchildren and great-grandchildren participated in.  Family was very important to Marilyn and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband; three children, Doug (Connie) White of Bloomfield, Vicki (Phil) Seibert of Altoona, Iowa, Gary (Julie) White of Bloomfield; seven grandchildren, Brandi (Stewart) Shively, Boyd White, Betsy (Nathan) Gibson, Jeremy (Michelle Rich) Seibert, Caleb Seibert, Lyndsi (Jon) Antal, Tyler (Shelby) White; and 13 great-grandchildren with one more on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Marietta Morrison and one in infancy.

Due to the CDC guidelines relating to the Covid-19 virus, a private family graveside service will be held at the Troy Cemetery with Rev. Donna Olinger officiating.  A memorial has been established to the Troy Cemetery.  Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements and online condolences may be left at
