Roy Bohi, 95, of Bloomfield, passed away on Dec. 31, 2020 at the Bloomfield Care Center. He was born on July 2, 1925 in Davis County to Jacob and Grace Fern Brown Bohi.

Roy served in the Air Force. He married Mary Ellen Steele on March 12, 1945 at the original Open Bible Church in Bloomfield. Mary and Roy lived in Bloomfield until 1969 then moved to Phoenix, Ariz. He was a farmer, real estate broker, and managed a cemetery while living in Phoenix.

After many years and many good memories, they moved back to Bloomfield in 1993. He was a family man and loved spending time with his children. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

He is survived by five children, Mary Beth (Michael) Bartlett of Edmund, Okla., Roy “R.W.” (Joyce) Bohi of Olathe, Kan., Patricia Diane Bohi of Glendale, Ariz., Virginia Lee (Douglas) Wickware of Yukon, Okla., Eddie Dean Bohi of Bloomfield; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Ernie Bohi of Bloomfield, and Jimmy Bohi of Gardner, Kan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, John Bohi; grandson, Anthony Bohi; and sister, Beth Bunting.

Graveside services were at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9, at the Union Cemetery in Davis County with Pastor Jon Klaus officiating. No visitation was planned.
