Golf Marshall

Tucker Marshall hits a drive to the first hole during last week's dual golf meet against Centerville. The meet was held at Honey Creek Preserve west of Moravia. Marshall finished the meet with a round of 57.

The Mustang golf team scored an eight-stroke win over Centerville April 23. The Mustangs traveled to Honey Creek Preserve to take on the Big Reds in a South Central Conference dual meet.

Davis County shot a 189 team score, beating Centerville who finished with a 197.

Easton White led the Mustangs with a low round of 45 in the nine-hole meet. Michael Early finished with a 48. Cohen Piper shot a 50. Lane Johnson shot a 53. Tucker Marshall finished with a 57. Spencer Boas finished the night shooting a 61.

In junior varsity action, Davis County finished with a 213. Centerville carded a 243 team score. Leading the way for Davis County were Noah Hamm and Jack Bigsby who both shot rounds of 48. Taylor Huggins finished with a 58 and Drew Cramer shot a 59.
