Earl Trachsel of Pulaski is the winner of week two of the Bloomfield Democrat’s Football Contest. Trachsel picked nine of the 10 game winners correctly in this week’s contest and was one of two people to do so.
Trachsel and Michael Rhum of Bloomfield both correctly picked nine of the game winners correctly. Trachsel incorrectly chose Williamsburg to win that game. Epworth, Western Dubuque won the game 48-20. Rhum incorrectly picked Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont to beat Pleasantville. Pleasantville won that game, 45-7.
Trachsel won the contest by choosing 610 as his total points tiebreaking score. The actual total was 599 for the week. Rhum’s total points guess was 501 points.
Trachsel will receive the $50 weekly cash prize courtesy of Pulaski Lumber and will earn 10 extra points toward the grand prize drawing at the end of the contest. After week two, Rhum leads all contestants with 27 points. Brent Lindberg has 26 points and Trachsel had 19 points and Allison Angle had 16 points.
