The Mustang golf team finished fourth in the Davis County Invitational held April 22 at the Bloomfield Country Club. Van Buren won the tournament with a low team score of 336.
Clayton Bruckman of Van Buren won the individual medalist honors in the tournament with a low score of 78 after shooting a pair of 39s on the front and back nine. Landon Simpson of Albia and Luke Davis of Keokuk tied for the runner-up medalist honors shooting rounds of 82.
Easton White continues to play well for Davis County. He shot an 89 after carding rounds of 46 on the front nine and a 43 on the back nine. Tucker Marshall finished with a 99 overall. He shot rounds of 53 and 46. Cohen Piper finished with a 100 after shooting rounds of 45 and 55. Michael Early also finished with a 100 after shooting rounds of 48 and 52. Lane Johnson finished with rounds of 54 and 49 for a 103. Spencer Boas finished with a 114 after hitting rounds of 53 and 61.
Along with Bruckman, Van Buren carded rounds of 83, 86, and 89 to secure the team title.
