The Bloomfield Police Department filed charges against Daniel Eaton of Bloomfield on Feb. 23 following sexual abuse allegations concerning minors. As a result of the investigation, Eaton was charged with four counts of sexual abuse 2nd degree, four counts of lascivious acts with a child, and four counts of lascivious contact with a minor. Sexual abuse second degree is a Class B felony. Lascivious acts with a child is a Class D felony, and lascivious acts with a minor is a serious misdemeanor. Eaton is currently being held on unrelated drug charges at the Davis County Jail.
